About the seminar:
P-DTR® Foundations: Module 1—The First Step into Functional Neurology with the method’s creator, Dr. Jose Palomar. This seminar provides the essential foundation for learning how to “communicate” with the patient’s nervous system.
The first module is designed to help you understand the fundamental principles of P-DTR and learn how to correct the primary mechanoreceptors, which are most often responsible for muscle tone disorders and primary pain.
The goal of this seminar: to calibrate your hands according to the highest P-DTR standards. If your “instrument” (your hands and testing technique) is not calibrated, the results will be poor. This workshop will help you feel confident, work more accurately, and achieve results.
Many practitioners make critical mistakes: incorrect pressure vector, excessive force, delayed recording of the response, or failure to notice the patient’s compensations. This leads to incorrect diagnoses and poor treatment outcomes.

- Diagnostics and Basic Rules:
- Introduction to P-DTR: You will understand the essence of the methodology, its neurological basis, and its fundamental principles of operation.
- Rules and Modes: You will master the working algorithms and functional modes.
- Autogenic Inhibition (Lines X and II): You will learn to modulate muscle response through specific neurological stimuli.
- “Switching” and Hypertonus: You will learn how to correct neurological “confusion” in the brain and identify the true causes of increased muscle tone.
- Control of Mechanoreceptors:
- Introduction to Mechanoreceptors: You will understand how the brain interprets mechanical stimuli from the environment and from within the body.
- Muscle Spindles (Bags and Chains): You will learn to work with the receptors located within muscles that are responsible for muscle length and tension.
- Reactor/Reactives: You will master one of the most important P-DTR tools—the ability to distinguish between primary and compensatory dysfunction.
- Pacini and Golgi Receptors: You will learn to correct errors in the vibration, deep pressure, and tendon tension receptors.
- TS Line: You will understand the role of the Temporal-Sphenoidal Line as a key indicator of the body’s adaptation.

LECTURER:
Dr. Jose Palomar
The creator of this method, who enrolled in medical school at the age of just 17, earned his medical degree and qualification as an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist, and completed his residency at the Central Military Hospital; he performed his first orthopedic surgery at the age of 24. Later, at the Texas Spine Surgery Institute in the U.S., he completed specialized training in minimally invasive spinal surgery.
Continuing his research into the human regulatory system—which he now refers to as the “software of the human body”—he became a graduate of the ICAK (International College of Applied Kinesiology) and received an honorary award from this organization for his scientific discoveries.
Today, as he continues his scientific research, Dr. Jose Palomar regularly teaches his method to doctors and therapists in Europe and the United States, while continuing to practice clinically in his native Mexico.
